Educated Children are Our Future

e-Kalvi Centres in Sri Lanka

e-Kalvi charity fund inc. is a non-profit organization which was established to provide educational support to underprivileged children in Northern, Eastern, and Upcountry areas in Sri Lanka, raising the next generation of independent, capable and critical thinking adults.

Our e-Kalvi charity fund is already managing more than 35 well established e-Kalvi centres in Northern, Eastern and Upcountry areas in Sri Lanka.

This is being done through providing smart TVs, projectors & screens, printers & photocopiers, and Laptop/mini computers to all the centres. In addition to this, the centres also have the involvement of qualified teachers in Sri Lanka who help the students with their learning in accordance with the curriculum set by the Department of Education, Sri Lanka. In other places where there are no e-Kalvi centres, we provide the students with USB drives pre-loaded with all the required educational materials including real time teaching videos by well-known teachers in Northern and Eastern Sri Lanka, from which the students could learn in their own time at home using their TVs or personal computers. This helps the students to develop their self-education capability and once they finished learning, pass these USB drives on to the next generation.

In both methods of learning program, either through learning centres or in home self-learning, we provide copies of model question papers, study materials to the students. We also conduct model examinations for the students which are being coordinated and monitored by the principals and the teachers of relevant schools. All these projects are supported by JUGA-Victoria members, donors and well-wishers, we urge your continuous support for the years to come.

How can you help?

To be successful with our e-Kalvi project we need donors and sponsors like you to come forward and support us.
